Ok, I've updated it so that it blocks on incorrect words. I think this works a lot better. It'll keep people from getting confused when they make a mistake and it'll force them to fix their mistakes. Thanks again for the feed back!

Yep, it counts punctuation. I've also had the problem of being off by one word too. It usually happens when I start to really get into the groove of things and just make one little mistake. I'm thinking of changing it so that if you don't type the correct word, it'll block on that word (without clearing out your inputted text) until you've typed the correct word.

Thanks for this feed back. I'd actually been wondering if that had been happening to anyone else. My other thought was to make it go character by character, but I like the idea of letting the user backspace to fix a word (so it doesn't hurt there total "Words Correct" count).

My comment-- if the text for the text includes punctuation, include it in your validation. Or at least don't have it count against you. I went three times getting almost every word wrong before I realized it was because I was typing the punctuation, which threw off the "which word is she on" results.
