Funny Chain Letters

This is a small collection of funny chain letters I collected from my days on AOL (back in the late 90’s). Most chain letters sent back then were pretty dumb, however, every once in a while there’d be a chain letter that made me lol.

• 179 Ways to Annoy People - Possibly the funniest chain letter I received from that time period.
• Guys and Girls Chain Letter - This was probably the most popular AOL chain letter back in the 1997/1998 days. When I was a teen I thought it was hilarious.
• My First Time - A chain letter describing the writer’s “first time”.
• The End of All Chain Letters Chain Letter - In 1998 there were so many chain letters that AOL instigated rules against sending them. Shortly before that, this chain letter hit the scene, deriding the craze and making those who hated chain letters laugh. Side note: I’ve been told there are other versions of this. This was the version I received. If you have one of the other versions let me know.

• Coke is Life By Orion - This poem speaks to me for some reason. Possibly because I drink around 2 liters of soda a day.
• Room Buster Rant By Ping - Remember room busters? Those things you’d use to get into AOL chat rooms when they were full?
