Stats: June vs May

I’m a big fan of stats and seeing what works and what doesn’t work. At the end of the day, it appears that TAAG was a worth while program to write. Hopefully I can continue to think up new stuff that will be interesting for people to check out. My end of the year goal is to be getting 500+ visitors a day. However, that may be a pie in the sky dream because even if I kept increasing my visitor count by  18.3%, I wouldn’t make that goal.

Also, based on the search engine results, I think I can conclude that google is awesome.

  1. I’m sure once you start adding more content to your site again your visitor number will increase. During the first few months my site was available I had about the same figures (probably less). Now I’m hitting around 1,200 unique hits a day with more than 7,000 page views a day, and transfering at least 1 GB a day in bandwith.

  2. Yeah, I was actually thinking about that the other day. Most of the content on this site is on the software tab, and it’s not a lot. Hopefully I can beef things up in the coming months.

1,200 a day is really good. Getting that high isn’t easy though.
